ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for a celebration of Scottish food and scotch, benefiting the Smoky Mountian Scottish Festival and Games.

As you come in, you will be greeted with "Boyd's Buie," our housemade version on Drambuie with scotch, honey, herbs, and spices - a Jig and Reel specialty. Enjoy charcuterie as you get settled in and learn about the Festival and Games as well as the Ardmore Traditional Highland Single Malt Whisky, our first featured scotch. Help yourself to a truly Scottish feast of shephard's pie, macaroni rolls, chicken cider pie, root vegetables, and Highland salad while you prepare for your next scotch, Bowmore 12 year Islay Single Malt Whisky. We'll review its flavor profiles and history as we bring dessert, the fluffy Scottish treat of Cranachan. Our nightcap will be Auchentoshan Three Wood Lowland Single Malt Whisky, as we wrap up the evening with some exciting news about the upcoming festival on May 19th and 20th. Please learn more about the Festival below.

Tickets are $55 and available in advance at this site. All profits will benefit the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games. This event will likely sell out, so please get your tickets in advance to reserve your space.

The Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games at Maryville College is East Tennessee's premier celebration of Scottish culture and history. Originally founded in 1981 as the Gatlinburg Scottish Festival and Games, we are one of the oldest Scottish Festivals in the country. In 2010, we established a new home in the City of Maryville on the grounds of historic Maryville College, home of "The Scots." You don't have to be Scottish in order to enjoy this unique Festival! Our location in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains is the perfect backdrop for you and your family to get a wee glimpse of Scotland -and to discover and appreciate the rich traditions and history of the Scottish and Scots-Irish settlers of our area.

"Come for the pipes and drums; come for the history; come for the athletic competitions, entertainers and exhibits; come for the food and drink. Come and have a great time!" -Smoky Mountain Festival and Games
