The Jig & Reel cordially invites you to An Evening With Loch Lomond & Glen Scotia
Jig & Reel opens its doors this coming Monday, September 26, to present an evening of drams and banter featuring whiskies from Glen Scotia and Loch Lomond, two of the most storied and unique distilleries in Scotland. Opened in 1964, Loch Lomond has the distinction of being one of the most technically complex distilleries in Scotland, capable of producing 11 distinct distillates under a single roof. In contrast, Glen Scotia is a product of an earlier age of Scottish distilling, officially founded in 1832 and one of the two surviving original Campbeltown distilleries.
In addition to fine whisky, we will be serving a dinner tailor-made to suit the unique flavors from these distilleries. Our house spirits specialist George Talley will be on hand, as well as members of the Loch Lomond team to guide us through the evening's festivities.
The Dinner Menu includes the following courses:
