Join us at Boyd's Jig & Reel on Sunday the 29th of September as we will be taking you on a journey to the 'Land of the Rising Sun' in one of our most exciting food and whisky pairings yet. We will be pairing 5 whiskies from Japan with 5 delicious Japanese inspired dishes, including freshly made Dumplings and Japanese Crepes, all brought to you by our Head Chef, Paulie Brooks.

 

1st Course - Shaved Rib Eye Sticky Buns & Sweet Chili Sauce

2nd Course - Japanese Crepes with Slaw, Peppers, Sprouts & Pickled Ginger Hoisin Sauce

3rd Course - Udon Noodles in 3 Pepper Chicken Broth with Chicken Thighs & Grilled Bok Choy                                                     

Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Japanese Whisky

 

4th Course - Pork & Vegetable Rose Dumplings with housemade Dragon sauce

5th Course - Surprise Dessert

This is a ticketed event at $55 and is available to over 21's only. The event will start prompt at 5.00pm and will last approx. 1 hour.
