Scott McMahan blurs the lines between Soul & Folk, Country & Rock. Honest and direct, he sings of longing, loss, and the hope of redemption. His warm, gritty baritone is at times weary and emotion-laced, bringing to mind artists like Otis Redding and Van Morrison. Scott will perform songs from his self-titled, debut full-length studio album, which was recorded at Nashville’s Howard Apartment Studio by Dave Coleman of The Coal Men. Special guests on the CD, which featuers the song “Had to Let Her Go,” include Randall Bramblett, Blue Mother Tupelo and Dave Coleman.
